About Us..

Litchfield Veterinary Hospital is a full service, companion animal veterinary hospital that has been serving the Litchfield area for over 30 years. 

We are committed to providing high quality and compassionate veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.

Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

Our new improved facility opened its doors in June 2005.  This bright and spacious facility has a large reception/waiting area, five examination rooms, a well stocked pharmacy, a surgical preparation room and surgical suite, a radiology room, an isolation ward, a closely supervised hospitalization and intensive care area, and generously sized, separate cat and dog wards.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of outside laboratories. We also work closely with referral specialty practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
